About New Silver Beach
New Silver Beach is a private beach 4/10 of a mile from the house. Lifeguards guard the beach from two stations during posted hours. For younger kids, the water level deepens
very gradually and for the older kids, there is a diving raft located just off the beach. Located on Buzzards Bay, the water is warmer and calmer than other Cape Cod beaches.
The house is part of the private New Silver Beach Improvement Association. Besides maintaining a spotless beach with life guards, the Association cares for a tennis court,
basketball court, and playground.
The Association offers weekly activities throughout the summer season, and as our guests, you and your family will be able to take part in all the activities
the SBIA has to offer. This can greatly enhance your family's stay at our house.
Past activities included: swimming lessons, kid's cookout w/ bingo, teen dodge ball, nightly movies on the tennis court, grill night, fishing tournament,
horseshoe tournament, and volleyball.
There is a snack bar and grill across from the beach for coffee, snacks, lunch, or ice cream. They also have avideo and arcade games.
New Silver beach is close enough to enjoy the attractions in Falmouth, Woods Hole, and the Vineyard, but still retain its own village character.
